With wine being such a huge part of the French culture, it was inevitable for me to touch upon the subject. After all, I, for one, love a good glass of wine. So, to help me immerse you into the world of wine, I’ve enlisted the help of a fellow wine enthusiast and host of the Wine Up series, Allison Miché. Allison is a multifaceted creator who is currently adding French to her toolbelt.

Today, she’ll be teaching us the basics of wine and what to look for when buying it. We’ll also learn about the two categories of wine, the types of wine glasses that exist, and. of course, my favorite wine. In the process, I’ll supply you with some useful French expressions and vocabulary related to wine so that you can use to impress the people you know with your newfound knowledge of wine.
